Teaching the Scottish Gaelic language and encouraging its routine use is Slighe nan Gaidheal's primary mission. After many years of producing individual educational events and trying out various course materials, the Gaelic Education Committee hit on the idea of establishing a syllabus rather than selecting a text book and the Zero to Gaelic program was born.
About the Slighe nan Gaidheal Library Slighe nan Gaidheal holds a collection of over a hundred books which are available for members to borrow.
