A Unique Approach to Adult Language Learning

The Zero to Gaelic program was designed with busy adults' needs in mind, and so is quite different from a standard adult weekly language course.

A new group of beginners starts each September on their journey of Gaelic discovery.

The program is primarily comprised of five day-long Saturday classes per year with a variety of presenters.

Z2G Syllabus - Get all the basics get covered!

The Zero to Gaelic program uses a three-year syllabus to coordinate our presenters and students. You can read down the 16 units and see what subjects will be covered in each. Combine that with the Z2G Schedule, and you'll always know where you are in the journey!

Z2G Table of Correspondences - Finding the units in your chosen books

In order to facilitate Gaelic students using the language books and audio/video resources that best meet their needs, our Gaelic Education committee members have created a document that you can use to find the right material in your favorite Gaelic language course.

Once you know which of the 16 units on the syllabus is your target, just read across the table and find which column corresponds to your book.

If your book isn't listed on our table, you can still mostly likely find the right material by consulting the table of contents or index.

The Finish Line

So what do you get if you complete the program other than a fantastic new ability that will enrich your whole life?

A completion pin! Yay!
