It is time once again to elect Slighe nan Gaidheal Board Members! We will be electing 3 new Board members for the 2015 – 2018 term and we will be electing 1 Board member for the remainder of the 2013 – 2016 term. As usual, the election will take place at our Annual General Meeting, to be held on Sunday, October 25 at 1:30 PM at the Kenmore Community Club, 7304 NE 175th St., Kenmore, WA 98028.
If you would like to know more about what the job requires or how to run for election, please feel free to contact the Elections Co-Chairs or any current or past Board member.
If you would like to run for election, contact the Elections Co-Chairs for instructions on writing your candidate statement. REMINDER – outgoing Board members who wish to stand for re-election must also submit candidate statements.
Candidate statements are due to the Elections Co-Chairs on September 15th. Please mail your typewritten statement to our PO Box (Slighe nan Gaidheal, PO Box 31834, Seattle, WA 98103) or email it to the Elections Co-Chairs.

||Zero to Gaelic Intensive Day 1
Time for a new year of Zero to Gaelic to begin! A new group of Gaelic adventurers will start on their way. Three levels of progressive instruction plus our Ceum Suas group for ongoing and advanced learners. Members of Slighe nan Gaidheal are eligible to register for a full season of Zero to Gaelic intensive days for just $250. Single days are open to everyone for just $55.
||Annual General Meeting and Céilidh
Slighe nan Gaidheal members, friends, and guests will be celebrating Oidhche Shamhna a few days early. Children are welcome!
NOTE: Starting time has changed to 1:30 pm
What to bring:
- A potluck dish to share
- Your musical instruments and voices for the Ceilidh
- Optional: costume, items for the remembrance table.
Program: We will welcome everyone for a social time with snacks and beverages, followed by a song circle, short presentations from SnG's Board officers and program chairs. Then let the Ceilidh and potluck dinner begin!
- Open mic invitation to all of our members. Don't forget to bring your musical instruments and voices!

- Remembrance Table: bring photos and memorabilia to honor our departed loved ones

Second Gaelic intensive day of the season. Members of Slighe nan Gaidheal are eligible to register for the full year of five Zero to Gaelic intensive days for just $250. Anyone can register for a single event for the cost of only $55. more info
